Controls & Studio
Open Freecam with /freecam or /cam. Your view starts at the current gameplay camera, while your character stays in the scene. The default movement boundary is 20 metres from your character’s position when Freecam opens.

Camera & Movement
Open the camera tab in Studio to adjust the movement multiplier, lens FOV, and roll. Lower FOV zooms in; higher FOV captures a wider view. Changing FOV does not move the camera closer to the subject.
At the default 1.0x multiplier, normal movement is 8 m/s, fast movement is 24 m/s, and slow movement is 1.5 m/s. Lower the multiplier for close portraits and detail shots. Reset roll to level a tilted horizon.
Filters & Color Grading
Choose a filter in the filter tab and adjust its intensity. The shipped list contains 18 entries, including Natural / Standard with no color filter. You can also cycle filters with the Left and Right arrows outside Studio.
Space resets the filter and its intensity; it does not reset the lens, lighting, or depth of field.
Optics & Composition
Enable depth of field to blur areas outside your chosen focus region.
| Setting | Effect |
|---|---|
| Auto focus | Attempts to focus on the scene in front of the camera |
| Manual focus distance | Sets how far from the camera the sharp region sits; turn auto focus off to adjust it |
| Focus depth | Controls the thickness of the sharp region |
| Blur strength | Changes how strongly the out-of-focus areas blur |
| Cinematic bars | Adds black bars for a cinematic composition |
| Rule-of-thirds grid | Adds alignment guides for framing |
For a portrait, frame your character, enable depth of field, and check the face is sharp. If auto focus shifts to the background, turn it off and adjust the manual focus distance. Increase focus depth when more of the subject needs to stay sharp.
Blur strength can also be adjusted live with the Up and Down arrows after closing Studio. Use Z to switch the effect off entirely.
Lighting & Scene
Enable the studio fill light to illuminate the subject from the camera’s position. Adjust its range, intensity, and color to match the scene. This is a continuous light, not a screenshot-triggered flash.
Freeze Player Pose locks your character’s position while framing. It does not provide an animation picker or pause an animation at a specific frame; animation playback remains controlled by the game or your animation resource.
The Studio panel fades when the pointer leaves it so you can inspect the scene, then returns when you move the pointer back over the panel.
