Objectives
After the steal, a contract can roll a mid-objective before you are allowed to extract. The pool per class is defined in Config.Difficulties (middlePool): D-class contracts skip the objective 70% of the time, while every S-class contract rolls GPS trackers. Behaviour is tuned in Config.MiddleTypes.
GPS Trackers
The car is fitted with trackers that must be charged and bypassed while driving:
- Tracker count scales with class: C = 1, B = 2, A = 2, S = 3.
- Each tracker charges only while you keep the car inside the speed window of 15–60 mph. A full charge takes 7–10 minutes of driving, with a 15-minute total cap.
- Once a tracker is charged, a short bypass window opens and you must pass the Reroute the GPS Signal minigame.
- Failing the bypass sets the charge back 15% and carries a 50% chance of alerting police.
While trackers are active, police receive live pings of the vehicle position (Config.DispatchAlerts.trackerPing). Ping intervals tighten with class — every 12 seconds on D down to every 4 seconds on S — and the chance an alert accompanies each ping climbs from 0% (D) to 100% (S).
Forced Respray
The car is too hot to move in its current colour. Drive to one of six spray shops around the map and hold the zone for the 60-second spray.
- The contract picks a target colour (Matte Black, Hot Pink, Sunset Orange, Racing White or Midnight Blue).
- The paint blends live over the spray duration — you can watch the car change colour as the timer runs.
Objectives are shown as map blips and tracked in the mission HUD, so your crew always knows the next required step.
